Until the development and introduction of the MMC International Presumptive Drug Testing Kits, the chemistry used for presumptive tests had not changed significantly since the late 1960s. The MMC Presumptive Drug Testing Kits were first introduced in the early 1990s, and they have become the presumptive drug testing kits of choice throughout Europe. Although MMC tests are relatively new in the United States and Canada, we believe their ease of use, unprecedented reliability, low cost, and officer safety will provide just what your agency is looking for.
The hermetically-sealed, pre-scored glass test ampoules are filled with specially treated solid crystals which are impregnated with the highest quality reagents and then blanketed with a high purity nitrogen gas. Unlike other drug testing kits, MMC kits will maintain their bright colors indicating a positive test result for a longer period of time*, allowing you to present the test kit in court if probable cause questions should arise. With no hazardous chemicals to be concerned with, disposal of the kits after testing or use in court is done by simply tossing the used ampoule in a trash can.
